Fertility Support Circle

Nurturing Wellness

Every fertility journey presents emotional challenges that can be isolating.

“Nurturing Wholeness” is a safe space where people navigating the complexities of fertility challenges can come together, and be guided by the compassionate expertise of seasoned fertility counselor, Caroline Andersen and Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) facilitator, Alda Ngo.

This support circle is intentionally designed to offer comfort, understanding, and practical tools for managing the unique stresses associated with fertility stressors.

Beginning Anew: A New Year Fertility Support Circle

Pause, Reflect, Renew

Co-facilitated in partnership by Registered Psychologist Caroline Andersen and Whole Family Health Acupuncturist & Mindfulness Instructor Alda Ngo, in collaboration with Alberta Reproductive Centre.

About the Event

The start of a new year offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and begin anew – especially for those navigating the fertility journey.

Join Registered Psychologist Caroline Andersen and Acupuncturist and Mindfulness Instructor Alda Ngo for a restorative Fertility Support Circle designed to help you reset and reconnect after the demands of the holiday season.

This in-person gathering integrates:

  • Compassionate guidance and reflective discussion with Caroline Andersen, offering supportive tools to help you process the past year and cultivate clarity and steadiness for the year ahead.
  • Mindfulness practice and community acupuncture with Alda Ngo, combining contemplative techniques and evidence-informed treatment to promote deep relaxation and nervous system regulation.

Together, these complementary approaches create a supportive environment to gently set intentions, restore balance, and enter the new year with renewed grounding.

What to Expect

Compassionate Guidance:

Our experienced counselor provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment, offering customized support to address the emotional complexities of the fertility journey. Through her skillful listening, inquiry and supportive guidance, she creates a space for participants to learn new ways to express and work with their stressful thoughts and emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction:

The MBSR facilitator introduces mindfulness practices tailored to increase resilience to the stress and anxiety commonly associated with fertility challenges. Participants will have an opportunity to learn accessible mindfulness practices that they can practice every day, enabling them to navigate their every day challenging emotions, with increased awareness, resilience and self-compassion.

Community Connection:

Fertility struggles can be so isolating. Sharing experiences within a supportive community of people facing similar struggles fosters a sense of belonging and understanding. Through safely guided conversations and shared narratives, participants can draw strength from one another’s stories and know that they are not alone.
